ZOC is a terminal emulator and telnet client, designed for both Windows and MAC operating systems. This utility was created to enable users an access to the different hosts using telnet protocol, modems, secure shells, and many others.

This piece of software is highly configurable, since it comes with a wide variety of settings for all its components. The Options menu provides access to settings for the global program, as well as session and keyboard translation profiles. You will be able to modify directory settings and choose methods for handling your connections. You are also allowed to choose from large lists of communication methods and emulation types.

Linux administrators will find this application especially useful, because it provides all the necessary tools to connect to Unix/Linux hosts. ZOC provides all file transfer protocols, including Kermit, X-modem, Z-modem and Y-modem.

As a terminal emulator, ZOC allows users to send or receive files to or from their host. In order to do so, users need to access the “Transfer” menu, and select either “Transfer text file” or “Transfer Binary File”. Furthermore, in order not to lose any received data, this application allows you to store all incoming data to a specific location on your hard disk. The "Log to Printer" was designed to send the incoming data to your printer.

To conclude with, ZOC proves to be a handy terminal emulator amongst those based on the REXX scripting language, and it can appeal to any kind of computer users, from beginners to experienced ones. The interface has a user-friendly design, which allows users to focus their attention on the purpose they utilize it for.
